Dunno, Just Some Awesome Lyrics

Here we go, I'm sure it's gonna be a long long long post because I'm gonna give you a lot of lyrics as you already noticed from the title.

Well, lyrics. Without it, a song will be nothing. There will be no message in it, no value, no emotion. From time to time lyric has been an important part of the art of music. Since music was considered as a universal language, people around the globe try to speak their mind through it. But only music doesn't suffice their need. They write what the want to say, and put it together beautifully with the music itself. It becomes a song. Through the music they can touch people's heart, through the lyrics they can do more. Lyrics can influence a lot of people, some of them even cause a social movement, even a chaos. It's like a sword on the edge of a musician's guitar.

I know some of you are just so overwhelmed with lyrics from your favorite music. Some of you even can't live and feel incomplete without it. And me too. I can't live without good lyrics. I don't like music without meaningful lyrics.

And that's why I made this. I just want to share some bits of lyrics from my favorite musicians. Hope you like it, or even quote it on twitter I guess, lol. Enjoy..

I stare out of my window
And I look at my neighbors
And take notes on being normal
How to wave and be nice
Or talk to a child
Or offer a hand or actually smile

Maybe I'll learn how to talk to people
Maybe I'll learn how to laugh
Maybe I'll end up just like my dad
But I just don't feel like a grown up yet

I stare out of my window and I count the days
Cause my life's so fucking pointless
I could talk and be nice or light up a joint
Or go be a friend, but what is the point?

-Man Overboard, Atlas-

I'm sick of smiling
And so is my jaw
Can't you see my front is crumbling down
I'm sick of being someone I'm not
Please get me out of this slump

I'm sick of clapping
When I know I can do it better for myself
I'm sick of waiting
Sick of all these words that will never matter

-New Found Glory, Understatement-

Manage me I'm a mess
Turn a page, I'm a book
Half unread

I wanna be laughed at
Laughed with, just because

I wanna feel weightless
And that should be enough

-All Time Low, Weightless-

I watch my words fly by your side
You tell me I have no chance to survive
Why do you care? It's my life

I've said it a hundred times
I'll repeat everything single line to get it trought your head

You tell me how to think
But I'll stand up and do what's right for me

-Veara, Only Famous People Get Famous-

What's the difference of never knowing at all?
When every step I take is always too small
Maybe it's just something I can't admit
But lately I feel like I don't give a shit

Motivation, such an aggravation
Accusations, don't know how to take them
Inspiration's getting hard to fake it
Concentration, never hard to break it
Situation, never what you want it to be

What's the point of never making mistakes?
Self-indulgence is such a hard habit to break
It's all just a waste of time in the end
I don't care, so why should I even pretend?

-Sum41, Motivation-

Clearly I'm uncomfortable in this mold they call routine
Don't forget all dreams are portable
And on instincts you should lean

So if this city really makes you feel the way you swear it does
Show just a little more faith in the legs your standing on
Can't take for granted
The privilege you've been handed
You're hearts still beating, hearts still beating
Just keep it going. Never stop.

-With The Punches, Keep It Going-

Do you wanna be somebody else?
Are you sick of feeling so left out?
Are you desperate to find something more?
Before your life is over
Are you stuck inside a world you hate?
Are you sick of everyone around?
With their big fake smiles and stupid lies
While deep inside you're bleeding

-Simple Plan, Welcome To My Life-

I’m not a self-help book; I’m just a fucked up kid.
I had to take my own advice and I did.
Now I’m waiting for it to sink in.

Expect me standing tall, back against the wall,
'Cause what I learned was
It’s not about forcing happiness;
It’s about not letting the sadness win.

-The Wonder Years, Local Man Ruins Everything-

Are you locked up in a world that's been planned out for you?
Are you feeling like a social tool without a use?

-Greenday, She-

Responsibility? What's that?
Responsibility? not quite yet
Responsibility? What's that?
I don't want to think about it; we'd be better off without it

I'm still young and I'd like to stay that way
'Cause growing up won't make everything okay

-MXPX, Responsibility-

But tonight tonight it's on tonight
I don't want your boring life
And I don't want your 9 to 5
Or anyone to tell me how to live my life

People always tell me not to waste my time
To get a real job and get back in line
You can say I'll never be a millionaire
Tell me this guitar won't get me anywhere

-Good Charlotte, Festival Song-

Back and forth we always take our time growing up,
not knowing what's at stake before we change.
So give me a chance and I'll take it, make it or break it.
Time can only tell us who we are.

So they say, there are shades of gray in a lifetime.
If that is so, I'll let you know that I'm looking on the bright side.

-State Champs, Shades of Gray-

Don't pull me down this is where I belong
I think I'm different but I'm the same and I'm wrong

-Blink 182,Pathetic-

I guess that's enough folks, none of you read the whole thing anyway. Maybe I'm gonna post some other awesome lyrics on another post.

Keep on page peeps see ya on the next post!
